Distribution Channels Pet shops were the biggest distribution channel (41.9%) in India, followed by veterinary clinics (39.9%). Online retailing of pet food is on the rise at a CAGR of 10.7% Growing Pet Population In 2019, Indians owned 20 million pet dogs. That is expected to rise to 31 million by 2023.
